So i've wanted to tint my tailights for a while now but didn't want to rattle can them. Luckily my girlfriend is doing auto body at school and they just so happened to be tinting tailights so I went up there and here's what we got done. I took them out and helped sand them and she sprayed them. She was a little nervous but they turned out pretty good.

Haha yea we did them yesterday and I got pulled over for the first time ever today. Said my brakes weren't working then when he pulled me over they started working again so he let me go

And yea the brake lights show up pretty good during the day and at night. The tailights during the day not so much.

 

Who needs taillights during the day anyway! LOL... I figure as long as they can see your brake lights you're good to go.
