Up to 2000, GM didn't put black interiors in f-bodies. The closest to it is graphite, a dark gray.

I'm having a hard time finding leather seats period. I'm really after the firebird leather seats, but I finally found a set and the guy already had them sold. Most of the online junk yards want $800+ for them.

I have been looking like a madman, but like others have said, online dealers want 800+ for them, that is entirly too much for used seats, but Coparfinder.com is a place i visit quite frequently, just sift through the interior pics and see if there is somthing you like.

That is crazy!!!!!!!! The junkyard in my area pulls all the parts themselves and sells them. It's not one of those places that you can pick and pull it yourself. They want $150 for a complete 4 seat set from a 4th generation covered in cloth and $250 for the leather set but they want another $50 for the rear seats but that is still so much cheaper than what I'm hearing from you guys. I wonder what would look better in a 3rd gen the 95 Z28 cloth seats or the leather seat?

- Mike Harvey -

P.S. If you want I can give you their number and you can call to see if they will ship to you, they are located in Northern, CA.

Holy crap that's cheap! A yard near my buddy quoted me $450 for leather, but he's never got any in stock. I'll take that phone number if you're willing to give it!

Here is the number guys. The place is called Kennedy Auto Co. (209) 466-4987. Now keep in mind I called then no more than 2 months ago about these seats b/c I wanted them for my Firebird but ran into some unexpected financial situations so I had to put that mod aside for now. But do you guys think that leather or cloth would look better in a third gen Firebird? Glad I could be of help

I just came on to see if 4th gen seats fit in the 3rd gen and found htis thread
I am the guy on Z28.com and LS1.com with the dark grey leather seats for sale from my 99' Z28
These seats are beautiful.
You won't be dissapointed.
I bought the car last Feb, and pulled the seats last August. that makes them 6 months old with about 10,000 miles on the driver side, and maybe 1000 miles on the passenger side.
The driver side is 6 way power adjustable, and the passenger side is manual recline.
there is a TINY scuff on the driver side bolster, maybe 1/4" x less then 1/8 from a back pocket button, it is barely there, and doesn't show up in the pic I took today.
Email me for pics .

I have the seats up at the other sites for $800 pair, you pay shipping, or pick up here, proximal to Santa Cruz, CA.

(I don't like GM Sport Salvage at all,) but that's just my $.02 relevant to the rest of the thread,
Dal has the seats, new for about $1600 for both
Thanks,
Good Luck
Evan

I'll buy new Flofits before I ever consider paying that much for Camaro seats. At least the firebird seats are actually comfortable. The 4th gen camaro seats are almost as bad as my stock thirdgen seats.

Well, that's the going rate, and these seats are in great shape. Like new.
If anyone wants to send me an offer, I'm a reasonable guy.

I almost bought a 95Z with black leather, so I know that it had to be an option before 99....
Actually I drove 2 different 95's.... same leather interior..

I paid $500 for the Firebird seats I put in my V6 bird, and they needed a good cleaning and I pulled them. Sometimes a set goes for a rediculously cheap price, but in general they're rather pricy.

Cloth seats on the other hand are givaways.

Incidentally I'm selling my 4th gen leather seats in the classifieds here for what I paid, only catch is that I don't want to ship them.
