replacing it how does it line up

ok guys I'm taking off the rear deck lip of the hatch to mount a spoiler, right now its a bit crooked, can I adjust that by the metal part of the hatch or does the whole glass need to be adjusted. thanks, please respond.

the whole thing needs to be adjusted. and its only 4 bolts on the top of the glass, and dont tighten them too tight or you will break the glass.

ok now I'm confused, the teck article says to move the metal decklid piece not the glass, which way is best to do this.
