canibalized speedometer
i took my gauge panel off today in hopes that i could scan the gauges and make some white faced gauges from them.........well anywaze......my speedometer dont work now.........i put it back in, and everthing else appears to work, except the speedometer
what might be wrong?

From what I understand, starting in about 1990, camaros came with the same technology as MOST firebirds did in 86... You should have an electronic speedo, IF by chance you removed the speedo & loosened the screws in the back it is possible that you lost connection somewhere.
You might also want to see & make sure the speedo needle is not binding on something because it was aligned correctly.

You might also want to see & make sure the speedo needle is not binding on something because it was aligned correctly.

thanx Drew, i figured it was either a bad connection, or something is binding
i am gonna look into digital gauges though.......
