Stupid Question, but hey

OK
I have an 88 firebird, where do people keep there owners manual? The center consol is not tall enough and you have to angle it to get the door to close withc takes up alot of room. the map pocket on dash is way to small and with my leaky ttops my door pockets sometimes get wet. So where did they except this to go, see the center consol came with the tape holder thing. When you bought these cars were they just thrown on the front seat?
Thanks for wasting you time to read this.

I leave mine in the back hatch compartment, for easy access.

Any time I am traveling down the highway at 70MPH, its no big deal to crawl over my back seat, unlock the little compartment & retrieve the Owners manual. Just use the autopilot.

Just kidding.

Oh Dear LORD, don't throw it away!!! File it in a file cabinet, put it on a bookshelf, toss it in a drawer if you don't want it in the car, but don't toss it! I can't count how many times I have wished that I had the owners manual for one of my old cars.
