Re: OH BOY
Alright....I'll deal with this run-on sentence since no one else will.
Being an '88, it pre-dates RS models...and with no G80 limited slip rear on the RPO sticker, I'm going to have to say it's a base Sport Coupe. Looks like someone has added an IROC hood, and you're missing the ground effects for the front fenders/front bumper.
Pretty desirable car as far as non-IROCs go though, it's a real Black/Black t-top 305/5 speed car with lots of options that are usually not on base model cars.

I appreciate the reply I was begging to wonder if no one cared to help out a fellow enthusiast. As for my grammar I apologize I will attempt to do better. The main question I had was are the ground effects the same as the rs? I'm in need of more than just the fender ground effects and chin the farmer that had it before drug a plow across the front end and all the ground effects were thrashed.

False.
85 thru model year 1990 built in 89 (IROC) share the same gfx. Cars built after jan 1 1990 were not IROCs. They were the Z28 with the newer gfx, hood blisters and big spoiler.
GM lost the iroc nameplate for 1990 so only cars built in 89 could wear it. The 90 IROCs do have the yellow gauges.
