Do you have a pic of the clips....i used the lebra and the installation was self explanatory..it had plastic retainer clips that attached to lower front ground effect...

Re: Iroc bra installation
I used to run a Wolf one-piece that had bendable retaining tabs along the bottom edge of the hood pocket and on the edge where it wrapped around the wheel well.
I stopped using it because it was a PITA to have to remove it every time it got rained on and having to wash out the insides and the exterior of car when I wanted to re-install it.
It also left a nice "tan line" across the front of the hood. Not really noticeable unless you really look for it.
IMO, the Wolf was the best protector on the market at the time. I can't recall what ultimately became of it.
Anyway, what is your question?

Yes that's the one I have it has a pocket that slides on the hood then the bendable tabs along the bottom
My question is do I have to remove the plastic in the wheel well to get it to hook and also how do I get it too secure onto the hood without falling off

Re: Iroc bra installation
I had a Wolf one piece for many years, and it never left any marks. I like the looks of the one piece, with no gaudy opening between the hood and the bumper cover. People complain that its a pain to install and remove, but I think the whole process took less than 60 seconds.
The hood portion goes on first. I slipped my hood inside the opening, and put the rest of the bra on top of the hood to prevent it from going under the hood when the hood closed. Once you close the hood, the bra is not going anywhere.
As far as the wheel wells, I bent the metal that is inside the fabric 90 degrees and placed it on top of the plastic wheel wells. Never had any trouble with it coming off. Do this part last, making sure it is pretty snug. Once you bend the metal once, you are set, and will not have to bend it again.

You have to have at least a set of double D's for a bra.

Throw it in the garbage. A bra MIGHT save a stone chip, but it will damage your paint with 100% certainty. Here's why:
Dust will fall on your hood. When it rains, the grit will be washed down inbetween the bra and the paint. When you drive the car, engine vibrations and wind will cause the bra to vibrate the grinding compound against the paint, causing damage.
Why would you do that???

Re: Iroc bra installation
For the tabs around the wheel well I bent the tabs a little past 90-degrees and slipped them in between the plastic liner and the fender.
The tabs along the bottom in front of the wheel well and along the bottom front, I bent them up and inward 180-degrees and upward towards the top of the fender. This captures the end of the cover around the air dam.
The two hooks on the bungees can be hooked into the two holes in the bottom of the plastic shroud under the air dam front and center of the car. I can't recall if I had to drill holes in the shroud or not.
Make sure the cover doesn't flap around. It'll beat the paint to death. Remove the cover at the slightest hint of rain. You don't want wet road spray getting in between the cover and the paint.
Once removed, don't put it back on without washing the car and vacuuming all the sand and grit from the inside of the cover.
Remove the cover and vacuum the insides at least once a week. Don't forget to wash the car before putting it back on.
Like I said earlier, it got to be more of a pain than it was worth.

Re: Iroc bra installation
Sad but true tale. I had one on a 91 Forumla, and mostly just used the hood/headlight section. After a while I had to leave it on because it did what eseilbel67 just described to the hood tip. I won't use another one again. Besides, I'm not sure they improve the looks of the car anyway. But to answer the question, you shouldn't have to remove the inner fender to ge the tabs to work. They should just slide between the plastic and metal. At least, mine did.

I don't even think Wolf was called a "Bra", it was called a car mask, or something like that. To compare LeBra to Wolf is to compare Chinese dirt bikes from PepBoys to Honda or KTM. Back in the day, LeBra was like $79 and Wolf was about $130. I bet LeBra sold 100 for every one that Wolf sold. But you ultimately get what you pay for.
I never bought into the "protection" aspect of the product, either. To me, it was a fashion statement, much like rear louvers. Put the mask on when the car was freshly cleaned, leave it on for the weekend, take it off until the next car cleaning. Third Gens scream 80's, and these front covers were hugely popular. Not so much anymore, but they still bring a smile to my face when I see one on a vintage car.
I had both brands years back. I would not touch a LeBra with a 10 foot pole. I would not hesitate to put a Wolf on my car, given that the felt on the rear is still soft and most importantly, that felt is clean.

Yeah, I think it was a LeBra. The roughness of the cloth weave under the vinyl is part of the problem with those.

Re: Iroc bra installation
I'm still surprised at just how popular the LeBra's were. I bet one of every 15 or so cars I climb under at boneyards still have the metal LeBra install hooks under the fenders. I used to grab them, but at this point I bet I have a dozen of the hooks stashed away in a bag. Yeah, I'm a hoarder.
