Guys,

Just bought glass t-tops to replace my Lexan tops. However, one side fits fine but the other seems to not fit and seems to be pushing back about 1/4 inch. I know they need to be adjusted but could the rod be bent on the t-top? can that be adjusted at all?

First shots are before and after you close the latch...

manufacturing diffrences is what I suspect. they are all just a lil different. if you can try another t top on that side to confirm.

Wow, that's crazy. I didn't even know that was possible, thought all ttops were the same? I hope I don't have that problem if I switch to glass. I'm going to try polishing my Lexan tops first. Great tech thread on here about it.

don't bother. the best, and only ones, are glass.sure , you can polish, hope, and pray but in the end the sun will do what the sun does to lexan.

Meh, I'll give it a shot first. The article on here really is pretty good. Wether or not I can duplicate the results is another story.....

Re: T-Top Issue
You could remove your a and b pillar trim and try to adjust the slots back and forth.
Maybe push the t-top a bit to the front that way.
If that only moves the issue from the back to the front or whatever, there's nothing more you can do there :/

Thanks for the input. It is almost like the rod is too long. I thought about cutting the rod and putting another rod inside of it. Still a few holes in the rod until I get it adjusted right and weld it together. I need to replace the seals...could I just swap out my old hardware to the tops. However, I would have measure because the new rod might have the same issue.

Re: T-Top Issue
After making some adjustments they fit fine now. The one top was hitting a piecw of metal in the a-pillar. Once I adjusted the mount down a bit it fit fine.
