Well....up here in the North it's a little harder to get good deals on f body parts. There's a local company that wants 550 + tax for these spoilers. I managed to find one that was used but never installed for 275. My original was gone when I bought the car and it drove me nuts not having one on there. Spent a good part of today fitting the spoiler to the best I can before I take it back off and send to paint. I must say I really hate aftermarket. It's always a fight with this stuff to make it look good. I'm a bit **** so it really ticks me off when I can't get something perfect. After fitting, moving and probably having it on the car and back off about 10 times this is the best I can get it to fit.







Don't pay any attention to that ugly stereo. It was in the car when I bought it. I need to get the car back to its original state before moving on to the small stuff.

Thanks hopefully once painted she'll slide right on. Having issues getting a good picture of what the factory spoiler gaskets looked like so that I can make some.

You can look into this co. for rubber adhesive sheets for the gaskets.

It's fibreglass. Finding a rubber one is like finding the holy grail

 

I know how you feel about fitting a aftermarket fiberglass part. I used to restore Corvettes and we had replaced a lot of front bumpers with fiberglass. It took a lot of time to make them line up right. The 'Vette in the attached pics have both front and rear fiberglass bumpers that I personally did the body work on.

I've got the same wing (from Paradise Alley in the GTA), it fit pretty good, but I couldn't get my third brake light housing to fit, so I just left it off lol.

I had to drill out the rear deck lid to get the bolt holes to line up... But it's on and looks good!

 

I had to open up the holes on the two main bolts as well to get the fit right. Was a bit of a pain but aftermarket is usually like that
