Which Third Brake Light on a 88 Camaro
Hello, need help finding out what I have.I had to buy a new center section for my rear spoiler. The problem is the Third Brake Light assembly I have is too small for the spoiler I bought at a swap meet. I have attached some pictures to help show my problem.Thank You in advance for any help

I have two lights for my 87, the original is dated 10 NOV 86, and the the other one out of an 89 is dated LUG 7 89. Both of them are the exact same size and will fit in the 87 spoiler. I measured my spoiler and it looks to be the exact same size as the one in your pictures.
I believe all of the 3rd brake lights were the same from 87-90 for the camaro, so I'm thinking that one might be for a firebird or possibly a convertible camaro.

I just bought a nice spoiler from a 1989 and it too has the 1.50" x 14" size light assembly. GM part number 919872 and stamped MADE IN ITALY BY ALTISSIMO. lol..... Must be European Tuned lighting!

the lens I have in the 89 spoiler is a bit faded. I am ordering the nice repro one from Classic Industries #152838 $95

So can anyone confirm that there were 2 different size lamps (and spoilers)?? May be smaller 4 lamp version for Sport Coupe and the larger one on all Z28 and IROC's?

Diverging slightly - I have a 1988 Camaro and bought an after-market third-party third light that was an updated design using LEDs instead of bulbs. Looks great.

I have an 88' but its the sport coupe with the short spoiler. I ordered the hawks one and it was too large for my spoiler so i'm guessing the 88 year had two different size third brake lights.
