Installing A Digital Gauge Clustr Into An 88 Sc---help!

I just found a digital gauge cluster from a Berlinetta at a local junkyard for $17. This included the cluster, the black trim piece, and the glass. Does anyone know the simplest and most rliable way to rig it into my 88 Camaro? I have NO idea what kind of engine the Berlinetta had, as the engine was..well...missing, as was the tranny. No VIN number either, as the dash panel was pulled off. And that wouldn't help, cuz whose to say the original engine was replaced? Anyway, any help on this? All I want to work is the speedometer, tachometer, oil, gas, egine temp, battery, and directional indicators....everything else can stay off and maybe I can rig in a trick lighting source to make it look as it works.

Please gimme so dirt on this; I NEED to have that cluster working! It looks SO AWESOME!!!!

I think you would have to replace your sending units for switches.Thats just for the gauges, tempature and oil pressure. The rest of the stuff for the cluster I have no idea how to make it work.

go buy the berlinetta and repair it, it'd cost less in the long run.

If this is the all digital gauge panel, I'd call Summit cause their selling it. Get the number to the Company that makes it and then call them. Summit: 1-800-230-3030

It can be done -

But it's a LOT easier to install an aftermarket Digital gauge package into your car rather than replacing the entire dash, Heater-AC system, and floor console set-up. (along with various other parts and modifications ! )

If you REALY want this swap to work - You will need a COMPLETE berlinetta parts car !
