Under body

This may seem pretty wierd, but does anybody have a pic of a great/perfect condition undercarrage of thier car? I am talking like no rust, original coating and such. Thank you

i have seen cars with a bit of rust on them not too much and everyone said the floor was in great condition when is it considered to be bad?how much rust?

a little rust is definitely normal.... im just guessing but i'd say that it is officially *BAD* when you can actually crawl under your car and grab the carpet inside...just like i can on mine

...thats when you get the joys of buying completely new floor pans and gutting the interior

Just keep in mind thats a TTA, not a normal thirdgen.

Yes, all thirdgens should be body color underneath (not necessarily clearcoated), but remember some have been undercoated by the dealership or owner and are therefore are textured black.

Alright. I was just checking, b/c I am thinking about using some POR-15 on my underbody, since it has some surface rust, but it isnt real bad. Hopefully this will help protect it from further rusting.

Something tells me that the tta wasn't harmed. That something might be due to what we did in high school to a certain teacher's Porche 914...
