Need info/pics on 4th gen interior swap....

Well, I want to swap in the entire 4th gen interior into my 84 Camaro. If anyone has any pics or info on doing this it would be greatly appreciated. I'm looking to swap the entire dash, gauges, seats, console, and door panels. I know people have done it, and I've tried searching, but I can't find much info or pictures. I love my 3rd gen, but I hate the interior. Thanks in advance.

From what I've read in other posts here...all the seats are a direct bolt in...the center console can be fit in there with a little work...the dash will also fit in with some work....the door panels will fit....but the guages will NOT. Something about them being electric, and the 3rd gens weren't. I believe if other parts were swapped (heater core and something else if memory serves me correctly) then you could get the guages to work.

Do a search on this board...you should get a few nice hits that talk about this topic. I'm a 3rd Gen newbie...so take my words with a VERY large grain of salt ;-)

Outside of seats and maybe the console (i've heard this is a PITA because the thirdgen console has the radio pod built into it), it is an aggravating hassle...time that can be more rewardingly spent doing other things to your car.
