Compressor set up

We have a Craftsman 6 gallon compressor 150 max PSI. 2HP - 1HP. Delivery 3.7 scfm at 40 psi. Will the Devilbliss finish gun work with this compressor to spray BM Advance?

Re: Compressor set up

That compressor would only be enough for spraying a single coat on small panels. A front fender, Maybe a door, Maybe the front bumper. With smaller tanks the compressor will have to work much more often thus creating more problems with water in the tank or heating up the air in the tank. If the air in the tank is hot and there is much of a temperature difference between that and ambient temp you can get trace amounts of condensation on the panel.
