Thirdgen Ranch or 1A Auto Window Sweeps?
Anybody have experience with both? I don't doubt they are both good products, but I haven't heard much about the Thirdgen Ranch ones. Any reason I shouldn't go with the less expensive of the two?

I bought outer sweeps that were NOS from Thirdgen ranch. I bought aftermarket window sweeps from 1A. I was happy with both. The NOS outer sweeps still have alignment problems with some of the holes but it was not a big deal. I know guys had some issues with Thirdgen ranch a few years ago but that seems to have resolved itself. I could recommend either for sweeps.

It has been a few years since I purchased the sweeps from Danny at Thirdgen Ranch. I checked out his site and he appears to sell repros now as well. Not sure of the quality on his repros. They are probably OK but I can vouch for the service I got at the time was good.

They all pretty much come from the same suppliers. I bought mine on Rock Auto and they fit great. Fairchild brand.

1A auto is always posting on here about their window sweeps, if the price is fair on their site I'd give them the business since they put in the effort

Thirdgen Ranch currently has best deal on them so I'll try them out and report back. They also carry there own line so I guess its different than everybody else. Fairchild from Rock Auto is a close second.

Missed your post Tyler, 1A was just more expensive. I've heard they have great customer service and sell good products but I'm strapped for cash right now.

I just redid my entire weatherstripping with 1AAuto and it is some quality stuff, especially the inner and outer sweeps (I got the inner sweeps with the new plastic molding).
