Bought a new hood, doesn’t fit! What the heck

I bought a hood from a guy who has a 83 camaro. He sold me his fibreglass hood for his car , but to my dismay it doesn’t work on my 2.8 1989 RS. Were hoods ever different sizes?

I know my air infuction ports ports are what’s in the way , but could I sell it to someone with a 305? (No port)

Looks like a nice hood too! I'm wanting a fiberglass hood but I want a 2" cowl hood. Maybe look up fiberglass hoods on manufacturer sites like Harwood and see if they list different part numbers for both years?? That's what I would do. Good luck and hope it's something small that you can adjust to make it work.

Pretty typical. You'll need to adjust the fenders, bumper, etc, to align everything. They're currently aligned to the original hood.
