Just wanted to share with you guys this restoration video of my 1988 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am....I got it for $500 back in August last year and mechanically it runs well. I just changed the brakes, spark plugs and wires and the cap and rotor, PCV valve and the trunk struts in it when I got it. I drove it during the winter here in Canada too but now that it's restored it will be be garaged when the summer ends. From rusty queen to a beauty queen!
Update I just switched my insurance to Hagerty, I was with Intact(one of the biggest insurance companies in Canada) but switched to Hagerty since they agreed on the value of my trans am at $12,000 after the bodywork/rustwork and the new paintjob that it got last month so that in case it got into an accident and it's a total loss they'll pay the agreed value of the vehicle....my payment is $235 for the whole year which Intact couldn't match.
Its definitely blacked out! Paint looks great on it, very cool car. I grew up watching every episode of Knight Rider as a kid probably why ive owned Firebirds + T/As for 26 years on and off now.
I’ve never been one to like the knight rider cars but that is a tastefullly done version that looks really cool. The rims really mesh well with the whole thing. Good job!

Thanks dmccain! It definitely was worth the one year's wait of saving up for the paint job!
