HOOD BUMPER GAP IS BADDDDDDDDDDD

Hi all so me and my dad work on his 1987 camaro iroc-z and the hood bumper gap is really bad ive looked at other threads and all of there pictures are gone here is a picture

thats the hood gap

That isn't too bad of a gap, but it could be a bit tighter. Get the hood aligned with the fenders first, then adjust the nose to the hood. Looks like the nose will need to come up a little.

Hood looks fine with the fenders, at the blue line both corners should be even and if the top of the hood (arrow) is flush with the fenders, then its good as well. If however its too high and the hood stops on the core support are all the way down. The hood latch could be the culprit, it can also be adjusted, if needed. Do the hood before the bumper.

These are the best pics i have, but there are two 10mm nuts/bolts (yllw) in the center. Plus eight 10mm bolts (red) not visible here. Slightly loosen all these, just enough to adjust the bumper. These will allow you to move the center portion up/down and get the gap to your desire.

You can just barely see one of the 10mm bolts in this pic, 4 per side.
