Anyone ever put the side peices from the stock 3 Peice on thier car w/ an '88 Wing?

Anyone ever put the side peices from the stock 3 Peice on thier car w/ an '88 Wing?

Anyone ever put the side peices from the stock 3 Peice on thier car w/ an '88 Wing? If so, have pics? i have been wanting to do this since i got thae car and i even have mint teal ones sitting in my shed and i was just curious if anyone has done this?

i've thought of this a LONGGG time ago, and it looks like you'd be able to use the side pieces, but you'd have to do some custom work to make the side pieces to flow with the shorty wing. I think for fun, I'll take off the spoiler.

you think? in my head it would look great, but a lot of things can look good in yur head, but when you do them they turn out to be the complete oppositte.

What does everyone else think?

I think it will look like you don't know what kind of spoiler you want. I wouldn't do it.

thats why i wanted to see if someones has done it to make sure i like it before i go cutting holes in my car!

I you decide to add the '88 spoiler, get the metal deck lid panel for that wing, and swap it onto your hatch. Then you don't have to cut or fill anything, and you can change back easily. If you can't get the '88 deck lid, get a 82-87 decklid (camaro or 'bird) that came without a spoiler, and drill the holes in it.

if you look closly in my sig, you'll notice i have the wing on my car, it was stock. I also have the side peices from a teal car. Before i go drilling holes, on the side, i want to see what they ook like, in my head they look good, but who knows?

Oh, so you do. Couldn't tell that, until I stared at it for a minute. Don't drill the side holes until you are certain, because once you do, you are stuck.
