I didn't want to jump on the Paint removal thread since that's not exactly where I'm at. The sun has already removed most of the clear coat and a few people have told me to just sand entire surface with 400 grit and treat it like a steel piece.... seal, base & clear. I'm using PPG Omni line. The Flex agent is only recommended mixed in with the clear.
My question for you guys is does anyone recommend an adhesion promoter or any other process before the sealer?
Here's a couple pictures of what I have.
This close up shows how bad the sun has eaten this in a couple spots across the top edge. What would you suggest here? Just a flexible filler?
