Well i Finally got the Engine Bay Painted And the Motor Set in. Now Its in storage till June of next year ..That's when i have more money to continue the build.

 

Very nice! Very smooth with no orange peel that I can see. I hope I can get my bay to look as good. I have very little experience in shooting metallic.

 

Its a modified bright blue metallic.. and i had someone paint it.. i Suck at painting.

 

Sometimes, ya have to know your limits!

 

base coat clear coat is very simple once you get some time to do it.
if you can spray non metallic paint, then you can spray mettalic paint.
Dont brush yourself off on leanring a new thing or two, paint is actually pretty easy.

You are correct, But in this instance , I wanted it done right the first time, and trying out this body shop to see when the time comes to paint the rest of the car ,If i come back, Does that make sense. I hate looking for new companies and this was as much as a test as it was seeing if i like the color.
