How do I replace t-bar??

How do I replace t-bar??

I have t-tops and my current t-bar is rusted. What do I need to do to put a new one in?? thanks...

i think you have to remove the t-top weatherstrip, and then remove the screws. :rockon: best of luck, tom

Axle/Gears: Sag 3.73, B&W 3.45
Removing the black center piece is easy if your replacing your weather strip, BUT if your not, its a pain, because the weather strip is glued in..

By the way, there are usually some screws under the weather strip OTHER than the 6 or so that you can see.

Transmission: 700R4 fully modified
when you put the new piece in make sure that you seal underneath it or else you'll have a leak. Use some weatherstrip caulking (like a whole tube of it) to seal the piece and then do the same with the screws when you put them back in...

there were actually holes in my unibody, so definatly a good idea to seal all that up, or it will leak on your back seat...
