the noobs ride =)
ok so im new to the boards..but after i tell you whats in/on my 91 bird youll see im not new to this .........
motor: 305 tbi 1.)msd 6a box
2.)hooker 1 5/8 primary headers(no cat)
3.)tbi space
4.)injector spacer
5.)flow matched injectors
6.)fuel pressure regulator(running 15 psi)
7.)flowmaster muffler
8.)hypertech thermomaster(with 160 stat)
9.)crane gold 1.5 roller rockers
10.)ram air box(duel inlet snorkel with 4" hoses)
11.)edelbrock tbi intake manifold
12.)griffin aluminum radiator(fan always on)
13.)hypertech underdrive pullys
14.)powermaster high amp alternator
15.)edlebrock aluminum water pump
16.)accel power coil
17.)accel plugs with msd 8.5 wires
18.)accel heated o2 sensor
19.)turbo city high flow tbi
think that covers it have slp cam saving for afr heads
tranny: completely rebuilt by level ten in nj(they do slps trannys) they say it will handle 800 hp.....man it spins second and chirps third easily........perma cool tranny cooler with fan(always on).....aluminum dropped pan
rear: auburn posi with 3.73 precision gears with aluminum driveshaft by dennys driveshafts
wheel n tires: centerline convo pros with 245/50 15 bfgoodrich euro tas
suspension: 1.)kyb gas struts and shocks
2.)eibach springs
3.)metco motorsports aluminum control arms
4.)hellwig antisway bars fornt and back
5.)metco driveshaft loop
6.)tubular panhard bar
i dont run anything but mobil1 0-30 synthetic and i run water wetter and straight water in the cooling system....the thing never runs over 160 degrees...EVER......course i dont take it out on 95 degree days i mean if its too hot for you imagine how your motor feels? hehehehe
so far the only race ive lost is to a new vette and it was close......perhaps its the drivers i encounter i dont know but this car is real fast..however i dont understand how i blow guys away and i havent put a cam or heads in yet..perhaps its the flow in and out and keeping it cool that makes all the difference .........
to me i feel the way to go is small motor lower weight..its a no brainer really.whats the fastest thing on the road? a motorcycle..SMALL MOTOR..........i laugh at these guys that pull up runnin a 454 that sounds like its on its last cough in a monsterously heavy gto or chevelle......lol
welp hopefully ill get that ram airII hood this year or perhaps get the motor done or get corbeau seats. im trying to buy a house so who knows i may do nothing to it this year .....ok guys just thought id fill ya in on my deal ..lata!

trans fluid has to heat up too....I would get a temp sensor on that cooler...Running your trans fluid at around 65* all the time in winter is not the best idea.
