I wish I knew too. I'm missing a few too. Does anyone know if GM still has these? Is there any other car that has them besides 3rd gens?

They are still available from GM under part no. 20518591. A decent Chevrolet dealership should have them in stock.

hey you know what's really funny I just happen to see some in a local auto parts store, I don't know if you have a discount auto but if you do have them, their in the screw and fastner section. Yeah I almost postive there the same, they say gm interior screw, but I only seen black, but I sure you can get some vinel paint to match your interior. Their only like 50 cents or something.

Absolutely no paint I am spending a mint to do a total restoration. I would rather holdout and find original. Slowly I am finding stuff it just seems like it takes 2-3mo to find something after I need it

GM only has them in black, if they don't have them in the dealership they come 5 or 10 to a pack, they run about $.50-1.00 each. Didn't bother me too much to begin with, I just painted the heads gray... now that I'm redoing the interior in my V6 bird to black I used the extra gray screws from it to make a complete set for my Formula and Iroc. Incidently I never see these in the salvage yards, they're always gone. They're just too easy to pocket.

Hawksthirdgenparts.com sponsor at the top of the banner has them on their small parts webpage for not very much. All colors too.

thanks for the responses guys, i called the GM dealer here in Ontario, the part number was good for Canada too. What I need more than the plastic screws,is the nylon female part that snaps into the metal behind the panel, for the plastic screw to screw into. But of course, Gm only has the screws,no female part, and no listing for them period,so if no one knows where I can get some of them , i will have to think awile and try to come up with something for the screws to fix to. I tried all the bone yards around here, 10 camaros.1 screw!!!

I got those nylon pieces that they screw into at a local auto parts store. It's better than boneyard pieces because they're not already brittle with age.

Find a competant GM dealership, or at least a competant parts counter guy. GM has them there is a part number and they are available. I'd go grab a part number off the packaging, but chances are the parts numbers changed since then.

I ordered the plastic peices that the plastic screws go into a couple weeks ago from gmpartsdirect.com . The part number is 20370594.

Big screw recepticles

You can get the female part at NAPA. They have a book with actual examples of automotive fasteners. If they can't get them, the recepticles are also made by Motormite.
