Wrecked or no?

My 89 Camaro has 153,000 on it, and I bought it from the original owner about 2 years ago. He told me that it had never been wrecked, and a CARFAX report doesn't show anything either. The car has been repainted and it was from the Van Nuys plant (see tech article), the rear hatch is misaligned, and the doors don't line up great. Also, the passenger door requires some extra effort to open. The car rides pretty good as far as I can tell, especially with 12 year old rubber still mounting the suspension to the frame. The tires wear evenly and there aren't any real noticeable creaks unless I'm making a sharp turn into a driveway.

Are there any signs I could look for to see if it's been wrecked? Are hatch alignment and door alignment a problem on cars that have seen this much age? Are those problems correctable?

The door alignment can be simply age and worn hinges...the hatch thing could be the same..... check for bondo with a magnet or check seems for even gaps.......other than that it just sounds like the car was used normally and no taken too special care of
