Well think of it this way - a gauge set usually sell for somewhere around $100. If you want white gauges and don't make your own - it is another $60'ish...

So, if someone likes the way that set looks - it isn't THAT far off the norm...

just my $.02

1986redbird,
try my site, you will find the white 140 speedo there

http://www.3rdgenformula.com
after the splash page about half way down on the left look for "modifying your formula" then look for white face gages.

you wil have to shrink them down because you should get a better print that way...

I personally look at it like this, one person's junk is anothers treasure. If whoever bought those really wanted to pay the price let them, its not our problem, its their problem.

He sent me a message back and said he saw the kit on this site but was too lazy to do it and thought it would be easier to just buy them allready made.

HEHE, Hey, you used some of my guages or something too I believe, I want some royalties as well, lol.

BTW, these things have held up great after all this time. Love em.

100ish bucks isn't that high for a complete set of guages is it, whiteface or not? Never priced em...

@ most u pull it salvageyards I have seen an average price for the cluster to be about 50-70 bucks. to get a set of gages pulled for you is usually slightly more...

For $110 its not out of the ballpark but its pretty close.

Yo Man, take the templates off your site if you dont want people taking them, or have a disclamer on the site. W/O that you can't do anything. Just some advice.

I believe I actually sent the gages to him to use on his website, he e-mailed me and asked, I put them there for anyone to use...

notice the and

no biggie, I just re read my last post and it almost sounded like I was serious about the royalties... If he goes to sell them then that might be a different issue...

See, now that's why your momma shouldn't buy you a car, you'll be ingrate and USE CAPS to prove your sissy point. The buyer was an idiot for paying that $112?? amount. BTW caleb I've seen retarded 3rd graders use a friggin glue stick better then that. Your 16 and have an ebay account?? Isn't that illegal or does your mommy supervise while you use her accout to sell your wrecked 3rd gen camaro parts and Dungens and Dragons figureens?

Why don't you immature idiots leave the kid alone! He wrecked the car and is selling the sh** that he can off of it, who the he** are you guys to judge him for it? He didn't start the bidding at $112.00!!!! If you clowns were selling something on eBay, I doubt you would be upset if it went for more then it was worth! I don't care if he was selling a used paper bag and it went for $500, if he listed it accurately, who are you to look down your nose at him? Grow up people!

i totally agree, i mean I feel sorry for him because he wrecked, and the most he can do with it is part it out and put the money towards another camaro or bird. Id do the same.

Thats great that they did away with that citation!

Heck yeah, thats what e-bay is for, to sell what you have to the HIGHEST Bidder, so what if they might have overpaid. I personally think the buyer got a fiar deal. Think about it, they offered the money, he was happy to sell it at least $20, both parties are happy with the transaction thats all that matters...

BTW, I use all caps to Emphasize something not to yell...
