Corvette Rear End

IVE SEEN SOME CORVETTE LOOKING REAR ENDS ON SOME THIRD GEN FIREBIRDS AND I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS DONE THIS HOW TO DO IT AND IF ANYONE HAS SOME PICS WE CAN CHECK OUT THANKS

never seen anything on a firebird... camaro is another story however..

If you are talking about the IFS rear, it has been done more than once. I first saw this in a Road & Track Mag around 1990 and then in Car Craft. The Car Craft article was when they used to do the (real street shoot out). A guy from Canada had a Steel Blue GTA that had a T-56 and complete Vette IFS. I will try to find the date and issue for you.

If you mean the vette taillights, no I've never seen any on a firebird. If you mean the IRS (independent rear suspension), that's been done a few times as well. If you are looking into the IRS check out a company called Rare Auto Design. They thought about making a kit at once but backed out. They are in Florida and I'm sure if the price is right they could arrange something.
