:lala:
:lala: To set the station preset on your CamAro, you change to the channel you want to preset with the channel ****, then press SET, then the desired preset button. If you think that's confusing, then I pity you.

Are you for real dude? If you are, there is no way to get the stations back on a stock radio with out putting them like you just did by holding down the SET button. But you said your system was "bumping" and I know nothing stock bumps, are you sure you dont have Aftermarket? I dont think the lojack matters at all. Just put the battery cable on, and leave it on. Just a warning if you are joking and making stupid post, I urge you to leave, poeple dont take kindly to it. But if your for real, ask away, you will get top notoch answers here. Good luck with the car

I had like 27 ****in stations on that radio set are you sure there is no way to get them back like some sort of memory switch that will bring them back? I have lojack if that matter and It was my understanding that with lojack it moniters your car and knows the speed what stations you listen too and where your car is. PLEASE I REALLY SPENT SOME TIME ON MY STATIONS IF ANYONE KNOWS A WAY REPLY OR EMAIL ME!!!

Listen--you'll get your radio stations back if you punch it a few times--always worked for the other guy!
I heard if you take teh radio out of the car and put it in water all of the most recent deleted settings come back.
It has something to do with "shocking" the unit into the old ECM mode, where it recalls the last flux settings (radio presets). I heard a bathtub works, but to get everything perfect i hear the ocean is great because the salt water interacts with the diods and changes the logic gates (previously NAND ) , to Nor.
I dont beleive it though

no what you do is you go over to the battery and hang on to both terminal. What happens is it redownloads all the stations back into the radio. Sort of a battery backup system.
The correct way to do it is disconnect the #1 spark plug wire. You hold it while someone else turns the motor over. This should surge the flux capassitor and reset the radio stations.

Sorry, I can't help you restore the radio station presets. You forgot to use the "Permanent Save" mode. First step is to set the stations as previously described. Next you pull very hard on each button use a pair of pliers to get a good grip. You will hear a nice comforting snap as each button is removed. Cover the holes where the buttons were with a piece of electrical tape.
