I really don't think that would work with out a lot of work. I am assumming you are talking about the camaro wrap-around one. It is about 1/2 the length of our deck lids. Maybe you could graft 2 together, but fitting the side would be tough. I have seen pics of a taller stock style spoiler around, I think the company went out of business.

Yes, the 73 - up wrap around style. The center section would need to be enlongated or a new one molded and the end pieces trimmed.

I haven't taken any measurements yet, it's still in the 'concept' stage. Just wondering if someone's tried it before.

i have an aftemarket wing on my car that is supposed to be like a 2nd gen spoiler it is much taller and is wider on the sides. its pretty much the same as an iroc spoiler but longer and wider. looks really cool ill post pics after repaint.

In the Spring 2000 issue of Camaro Performers there is a centerfold of an '84 Camaro with the spoiler like you are talking about in the article "Smooth Operator." The article does not list any details on the spoiler. After looking at my Stepdad's '79 Z's spolier it would not be easy or worth it unless you really like that spoiler a lot. They look great on second gens (and naked without them) but I'm not sure it would be worth doing to a third gen.

I'm tryin to do the same thing with an 80 or 81 wing. My buddy works at a body shop and we're workin on it, we think if you just took off the old spoiler and "mud" the 2nd gen on the bottom and then let it dry then sand it down even with the trunk it may work don't know yet , but when we try it I'll post again

ASCD used to make the taller spoiler for thirdgens, but discontinued it.

It was 2" taller than stock IIRC.
