Can anyone clarify the following code for me?
WA-L9238 U9238 82C
I believe it to be the paint code for the color Mystic Teal,
can anyone tell me is this the whole code, part of it, or what.

Or is it for something else, the code was found in the drivers side compartment inside the trunk.

Code is WA-9238. As I recall, 82C should reference it as well. Is this what you're looking for?

*Edit-It appears 82C is the interior spec. Nevertheless WA-L9238 is the "lower" color and WA-U9238 is the "upper" color. Same code, same color.

 

Found this pretty cool little gadget. Go here and put in GM and your year. If you select Chevrolet it'll only let you select from years lower than '78. See if you can find your WA number below the color on the chip sheet.

 

Pick "GM" and you can then pick the right year.
