New Rear Disc Brake Kit With Internal Parking Brake
Check out this SSBC rear brake setup released at SEMA. Here is the description for the product:
"Rear disc brake conversion with stainless internal parking brake system. Kits with aluminum calipers and rotors from 11" to 13". Applications for Ford 9" and GM 10 and 12-bolt rear ends."
I wonder if this setup will work on a thirdgen. I couldn't find any pics or info on the SSBC website.
High res version of pic

Those SSBC caliper have been reported to have terrible cooling. They are only good for show ( personally I don't care for their looks either- bulky design for what you get.
Install pic of Wilwood disc w/internal drum parking brake setup. setup. You may not be able to get a rotor larger than 11" on a 16" rim with those bulky SSBC calipers either due to the large outside radius measurement required.

How much is that wilwood kit? Also is there any problems using the stock thirdgen parking brake cables since that kit is for a 4’th gen?

This is a kit designed for the heavier 4th gen f-bodies. The part # is WIL-140-6744-D and can be purchased through Summit racing for $718.99 [For standard rotors(still 2pc, but no slots, drilled or zinc washed) just purchase kit # WIL-140-6744, Its a little less expensive
For E-brake cables I used Lokar universal steelbraided cables and clevis' (aprox $100) and rigged the adjuster cable to them as such-

They are valid part #'s but it looks like Summit stopped listing them due to lack of purchasing interest. They now have the part # link to be superceeded by the WIL-140-7148D which is the 1pc SRP rotor setup (WIL-140-6744D is the 2pc rotor setup) and are now selling the 1pc rotor setup for the same price the 2pc used to be.
WIL-140-6744D is the kit I have and is still valid through Wilwood. It is not listed on there website. They only list the standard 1pc rotor kits for the Camaros. You will have to call them directly for purchasing info OR here is another outside source for the lit I have for $790.00. Looks like the price is going up on these.
