flange measurments
I have another question concerning the wilwoods i'm about to order. I was trying to measure the retaining clips(flanges) to see which kit to get, but i'm coming up with the 12bolt numbers on my 9".
Right now I am extremely confused, I KNOW i do not have a 12bolt. I posted a pic below to prove it.
I measured 2.480 x 2.700 (vertically to horizontally respectively)
Here is the link that heas the wilwood measurements on it for the flange/retaining clip.

scroll down a little on pg.4

Where'd you get the 9" Rearend from?
Is it possible that someone set it up with GM flanges and used C-clip Eliminators on it- Somewhat a frankenstien rearend where they still used very large GM drum brake assemblies?

Ok, i'm gonna attach a picture of my flange measurements. These measurements are all in inches and extremely precise. Please look at this page (pg. 4):
http://static.summitracing.com/globa...s/140-6699.pdf
Why do my measurements or even the shape of the flange match up!? Is the flange supposed to be easy to pop off as well because it isn't. And if the guy I bought it from "frankinstiened" it, how would you recommend I order a disk brake kit!?:confused"
Any help on this matter will be extremely APPRECIATED!
(Sorry for the crappy drawing, I don't have CAD on this comp.) Please, I need some information. I need my car to be ready for paint soon.

Heres the different types of flanges and measurements provided by Wilwood. I took a screenshot.

It has to be one of them point blank. The closest one that makes reasonable sense is the Chevy 12bolt "special" flange. That flange will work with a Ford 9" housing and axles due to its bearing retainer design so it is a logical choice.
That is kit # 140-7578 from wilwoods website. Take a look at the assembly and see if the "U" shaped retainer bracket looks like yours (part #2) http://www.wilwood.org/ds445.pdf
Measure your offset also to see if it is in fact 2.81"

wow, measured my offset to be 2.80"
should I definetely order the brakes for the chevy special now? That offset measurment is only one thousants off.
