Caliper fitting
I am looking for an answer to my headache.I have a 89 Trans Am GTA that the calipers froze up in since it has been sitting since 1998.I pulled the old units off and replaced them with OEM units. In placing the new units on there is a lot of slack (3/8 inch) from front to back on the rotor itself to the point where the front pad can allmost pop out. They are the same exact units as the ones pulled because I hit the piston back in with a hammer on the old unit, fitted it and had the same problem.Any suggestions?!

After bleeding, press the brakes, and the problem should be solved if I'm thinking correctly about what you're saying.
