Caliper to inner wheel clearance.
I am kind of curious to how much space you need between the inner wheel and the caliper itself. I plopped a 15" wheel on the LS1 rear and found that the wheel spins free and clear, except in one tiny spot it just nicks the wheel. It made me think, do you need clearance between the wheel and the caliper? The caliper should not travel at all when driving, but what it shouldn't do and what it actually does are two different things. Thanks for any help.

Hmm so that means I am going to have to hold off on putting the new rear in until I get the tires for my new wheels. Thanks for the help Ed.

I don't know that I even have a 1/4" on mine. Mine are tight, but there no place that there is any contact. That is what would worry me about your issue.
