LS1 brakes are on ---- what a difference!!!
Well, I bought a pair of assembled LS1 brakes from www.bigbrakeupgrade.com and the change in braking is amazing. Its gonna take a while to get used to them cuz they seem to be a little touchy right now but that might get a little better with time.
Also these things look mean behind my Firehawk rims!!! I got the drilled and slotted rotors.
The only thing is that when I get on the brakes it pulls to the left a bit. I had the car aligned at the same time so I know its not that, so Im guessing that there is some air in the right side brake line. I ll have to have it bled again.
Definetly something more people should do whether they buy a kit from someone or just the bracket and find the parts on a junked 98+ f-body(or buy new).
I'll post pics later when I find a digital camera(rather not take the pic with my camera phone).

I agree. Even though I did the standard C4 brakes (12" x .81" rotor, dual piston PBR). I tell folks that these brakes should have been factory stock from GM. No doubt about it.
The difference between the stockers and these is night and day. Well worth the money/time for the upgrade.

I think I paid something like $550 + shipping. The only thing I had to buy for the kit were the banjo bolts off a 98+ f-body, otherwise it was bolt on and stops the car like a real sports car. Very happy with the purchase and gotta admit that the slotted and crossdrilled rotors look kinda sweet!!

i just got my kit on also, mine had a lot of bite, i thought something was wrong at first, and mine pulled to the right when i braked, it seemed to go away and the rotors look like they are wearing in, i bet the bite has something to do with the drilled/slotted rotors
