Not sure on the bracket, but If i remember right, the C5 rotor is 12.75" and the LS1 rotor is 12"

does anyone know if the brackets are the same?

No they are not. The calipers will indeed swap from one to another, IE LS1 caliper in a C5 carrier and vice versa but they aren't the same. I posted pics of both of them side by side in the big LS1 thread in FAQ.

thanks ED! last night i read throught that very long post on the bigger better breaks.

one thing is that on the diagram of the bracket for the ls-1 breaks is theres no measurements, I dont suppose you have them

No I don't, other than the C4 bracket. Take the C4 bracket and move the carrier holes in about half an inch. I eyeball my brackets until I get them right.
