Earls brake line pissed me off.

Transmission: TH-700-R4
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt with 3.23's and SLP Posi.
Earls brake line pissed me off.

was putting the rear on and the damn brass fitting stripped out, im sooo pissed, i dunno what to do now. any tips, let me know, stupid ****ing brass, should have made the damn thing out of steel.

Engine: 5.7 TPI; 5.0 TBI; ZZ4/T56 on the ag
Transmission: A4, A4, slated to be a T56
You must have tightened it wayyy too much, they only need 12 ft lbs or so, not that much over wrench tight...I have an extra one in the shop if you need one, let me know.

teh fitting didnt even get tight, the other side tightened up like it should but the passenger side didnt, gave Earl's a call and they are shipping me a New T fitting free of charge! now it just needs to get here! I still dont think the thing should be made out of brass.

Egads! 112 ft lbs! Thats waaaay too much for brass fittings. The brass is soft and will seal with little effort.
