its time for brakes
its getting to be time to do brakes on my car. i just bought 17 inch boyd cottington smoothie II wheels. now that i have more wheel to fill up, what are my options. is there anyway that i can put a 13inch rotor with 4 piston caliper or will i only be able to use 12 inch rotor max. i really dont know much about all the different brake setups out there. if anyone out there that has boyd smoothies IIs and have big brakes please let me know what you are running and what did you have to do to make it fit.

thanks for the email.
im really interested in the wilwood 13inch HD kit. it sounds real nice and the price isnt to bad. im just not very sure if they will fit under my wheels. im not sure if i put a spacer on the front wheels, maybe they will fit or is there just no chance at all.
i was also looking at the C4 HD
the wilwood SCCA kit is out of my price range, so thats not an option.
can you explain the differenc between them. what are the advantages and disadvantages of these kits.
the car is mainly street driven. its definately not a daily driver. i really want the brakes mainly for the looks. i know that may sound stupid but the new wheels really opened that area up alot. so now it lookes really empty.
