Spindle modified, Tap it or drill through it?

I want to see how many people when modifying their spindle have drill through it and just used a nut and bolt instead of tapping it. I want to see if their is any feedback on just using the nut and bolt, like the bolt coming loose or its not as strong, or anything. I am going to be doing my spindles next week and I have never tapped anything before and dont have the tools, but i guess i could go buy some, but it might be just as easy to drill through and use grade 8 bolt and nut.

You will only be able to drill through the bottom hole, the upper mount is behind your strut bolt area so you can't do it there.

I'd never tried drilling and tapping before my 1LE conversion. You'll need a drill bit and a tap. Not rocket science.

If it is not perfectly straight it will still work, mine has for over 2 years.
