3rd Gen drums on 4th gen rear?

I picked up a 4th gen rear end from a 00 T/A WS6, 4.10 posi, welded tubes and lower control arm relocating brackets for real cheap. It didn't come with brakes, and not knowing, thought my drums will work on there, but the flanges look different.

My question is can I use my drum setup from my car and bolt it to the other rear end, or am I just better off swaping the internals?? I really don't have the money to buy used parts to swap to disc, and I don't have the space to have the car on stands for a long time, so any info is appreciated, thanks!!

i dont think the drum brakes will work, if you find disc brakes they'll bolt right on.

Please don't take offense to this statement but don't be a fool and DEGRADE your brakes to drums for any reason. My guess from your description is that you have a disc rear and those flanges won't have the provision for the wheel cylinder anyway. Just wait for a disc setup to come available or if you need a complete setup fast, let me know. I have all the parts in the shop.

None taken, no I have a stock drum rear end in the car currently, and I picked up a 4th gen rear with no brakes on it for cheap, and I wanted to know if I could just put my drums on the 4th gen rear, but looking at the flanges today doesn't look like I can.

How much for the parts you have??

if your just swapping in the rear for the gears, and your current one is fine, wait till you can get some disc brakes on the 4th gen rear before you swap them.
