difference betwn 1LE and c4 hd caliper? c4 hd caliper with 1LE rotor?

Hello

I would like to eventually upgrade my front brakes. Because i have GTA wheels
I am limited to a 12 inch rotor. Now what is the difference between 1LE front calipers and c4HD front calipers? Could i put a C4 hd caliper on a 1LE 12 inch rotor?

Also are the 1LE calipers just normal c4 calipers? [is a plain jane front c4 calipers a 1Le]
sorry for soo many questions

Thanks

Speed

They're similar, but I believe the width is different.

Nope, width is the same and they'll pretty much interchange, the only difference is in the location of the banjo bolt hole...same casting. The standard C4 and HD calipers are indeed different and will not interchange. Standard can only take a .81" thick rotor, the HDs handle the 1.1" rotor.
