Brake sticking *Help*
Ok.. I have a 84 Z28, with 4 disk brakes. I was driving the other day and my car kept going on the left when I was braking, and I stopped and realise that my front (right) disk brake keeps sticking, since it was smoking hot. I just changed the caliper and brake pads, bleeded it and it still sticks, when the car is started it won't even turn. Does 84 Z28 have ABS brakes? (But why would it only stick on one side?) I didn't change the hose.. Could that be the problem?

Re: Brake sticking *Help*
Thanks for your help I did realise that it is the brake hose but I haven't changed it yet, I'm going to change the 2 in the front, Is the process just to take the old ones off, put the new ones, bleed the brakes and that's it?
IROCU2: My rims are just American Racing Torq-Trust.. 16 inchs and I think that there either 9.5 or 10 inches wide. The tires are Aurora 245/55

same thing happened in my dad's 65 mustang that he swapped to disc brakes
went through two sets of calipers, three master cylinders, bled them all up and down the place, and just about every thing else
turned out the brand new proportioning valve was bad. replaced that, no more sticking.

had the same issues. On both sides when I bought mine. It was a chore getting it home lol. The rubber hoses are my bet. I checked/replaced every thing until I asked and some helpful guys told me to replace the hoses. It worked like a charm.
