Brake Problems and I suck at searching. HELP PLZ!!

I've tried to search but I couldent come up with anything. I have a 86 z28 with 4 wheels disc brakes. I put new break pads all the way around and bled the brakes but I still don't have much stopping power. I have to add brake fluid about every 2 weeks or less. Anyone know what the problem could be? Thanks in advance!

First, if you are having to add fluid every 2 weeks, you have a problem. Brakes are a closed system, meaning nothing is lost unless you develop a leak. Second, bu stopping power do you mean they tires won't lock up? I have an 82 Z-28 with 4 wheel disk and they have never locked up on a good road. The car stops fine but the wheels do not lock up without a lot of effort. Installing braided hoses would help too. Truth is stock brakes are small for the 16" wheels and with my 15" they would lock up a bit easier. I am currently in the process of an LS1 conversion.

Your main concern is to find your leak and go from there. Hope this helps

I agree with Indy, you have a leak. Fix that first an then see if the wheels lock up.
