Best breaks for 15" Wheel

Ok I have an 85 trans am, recently painted and bought new 15" wheels, well i wish i went bigger but its too late....

Right now i have disc up front and drum in the back. My first question is how big are my stock disc breaks in the front? I would like bigger disc breaks all the way around, i read that the c4 kit will fit? Anyone know an approx price? And the wheels are Eagle Alloy 028 series...

Re: Best breaks for 15" Wheel

You can run stock 4th gen LS1 style brakes if you use spacers and grind some material off the calipers.

Thats the biggest brake upgrade i can think of that will fit 15" rims.

Front: 10.5"

Your 15"s will pretty much limit you to 12" C4s or 12" 1LEs. Price will vary on if you can supply any of the parts yourself or if you buy a full kit ready to go. LMK if you need any help with this, I have all parts on hand.

Re: Best breaks for 15" Wheel

I'm pretty sure the LS1s wont' fit the 15" rear wheels without some grinding of the caliper which I don't recommend at all.

Re: Best breaks for 15" Wheel

Brakes from a '89-97 will work as they all install practically the same.
