ideas on brake problem
hi, i have a 1988 v6 discs front drums rear. under heavy footed braking the car dives alarmingly to one side, what would cause this ? its the second firebird that ive had this issue on and im fed up with it now . the steering parts are all 'tight'

Front? Check the hoses.

Yep, hoses. Replace both.

how is ur alignment? if it pulls while normal driving it will pull more when u apply the brake. But yeah hoses or a sticky caliper will do it also. if its a hard pull, so hard that the car tries to turn sharply(if u dont fight it), try a new proportioning valve.
