Braided lines for the rear- wrong adapter fitting
Hey guys-
While swapping my rear end for a Moser 9", I decided to upgrade the brakes and lines. The braided line kit I got came with the wrong fitting that goes between the hard line on the car and the short braided line. Then they sent me two other of the "most common" fittings and neither worked. I took the old line into a speed shop to see if they had anything and he couldn't find one that would work, but he wasn't sure what size I needed. I took the old line to the hardware store to find out what size I need, and nothing fit. I tried putting 12 x 1.25, 12 x 1.50 and 12 x 1.75 as well as 1/2" 13 and 1/2" 20 bolts in the female end of the line. Does anyone know what size I need for this? I really wanna get this car going already. Thanks.
Andy

Which one do you mean? The fitting that is one the main line from the prop valve to the rear flex line or the flex line to the smaller individual axle lines or from the axle line to the caliper line?

Re: Braided lines for the rear- wrong adapter fitting
I have done some research and found that the thread size is 12mm x 1.00.
The fitting I need looks like this:
http://www.wilwood.com/Products/008-...A/220-6413.jpg
with a 12mm x 1.00 female end and -4AN male. Surely someone has to make this

Well after much running around/calling/emailing, I have determined that this fitting does not exist. For anyone searching in the future, check out paragonperformance.com. Don was really helpful and made me a very nice custom line for about $45 shipped.
