brake line bolt the same for LS1 and 3rd gen calipers?
I couldn't find any LS1 caliper brake line bolts (banjo bolt) at any parts stores tonight so I decided to try and see if my 3rd gen bolts would fit into the threads on the LS1 calipers. I'm not sure if it felt so tight because I got a little overspray inside the threads from when I was painting the calipers, or if I was actually stripping the threads. It did feel kind of tight. Has anyone actually used their 3rd gen banjo bolts on their LS1 calipers and it worked, or am I going to have to get ahold of some LS1 bolts?

need the ls1 bolts.
they have them at the dealer but you need the part number. they don't seem to know how to look them up without buying 50$ worth of stuff.
do a search here and it should come up. or atleast the C5 ones like i got should.

Totally different bolts, the LS1s need a M10 x 1.0 banjo. If you threaded your stock banjos into the calipers with ANY force it's likely you just toasted your calipers since the banjos will no longer provide a good hold in the calipers.
Good luck. If you need the banjos I have them in the shop.
