can sum 1 tell me how to find the brake light switch on a 90 camaro rs. sum 1 told me that might be the problem,my brake lights only seem to work sometimes.the tail lights come on except the third tail brake light and the dash or gauge lights dont come on either...

 

Dash lights - have you checked the fuse?

Brake lights - could it be a bad ground somewhere?

 

The gauge lights are controlled by the dimmer switch.

As killert said, check the fuses and make sure there isn't a ground fault happening somewhere

Also if you have a little common sence and $20 go to the autoparts store and gat a Haynes manual or Chiltons Manual. The Stop light switch is on the Brake pedal(Front side)and it clips in.


Also a camaro does have a dimmer...ITS BUILT INTO THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH...So his info was somewhat helpfull to others
