Pinched Brake Line
I noticed today the the rear brake line is pinched from contact between the rear axle and the chassis. Car has no bump stops.
I have had no problem with the rear brakes. And suspect this happened when the panhard bar mount broke over a year ago.
The brakes bleed fine and stop fine. Brake pad wear is even on both rears. Calibers are willwood dynolites with 1.38 pistons.
Does a pinched line effect line pressure?
I can and will easily make new lines and may convert it all to an fittings.
I am just curious that this did not have an impact on braking.
Please comment.

Re: Pinched Brake Line
I am waiting on this answer too, we are working on removing a fuel tank from 87 camaro, and when we were working the exhaust system off, it apparently got flattened a little.
I am going to do more searching, but does anyone have an answer?

I learned tonight that you should not put a pressure bleeder on a car with a pinched line.
I blew off the resivoir and made a mess. I was water hose time asap.

Re: Pinched Brake Line
a pinch in the line usually causes the car to pull to the side where it isnt pinched, but if the pinch isnt that big then it wont have that big of an affect on the brakes. how was the rotor thickness? both even? and wheres the location of the pinch?

Re: Pinched Brake Line
My ex attacked one of my brake lines (looked like vice grips) and it caused a bubble in the line and I had no brakes for a while. A pinched line will deform or just blow out and then you SoL.
