Broken brake hard line
I have a 1991 Z28 with drum rears. The hard line that runs from the master all the way to the t-fitting on the rear axle broke right where it goes into the t-fitting. Is this line metric? I thought I would cut the line back, put a union in and bend a new line. Probably about 2 feet long. Can anyone tell me:
1:Size of brake line and fitting that goes into the tee
2:double flare or bubble flare?
Thanks

Re: Broken brake hard line
Looks like the rear is 6mm with a 12mmx1 bubble flare. Does anyone know the size that comes of the proportioning valve? Is it 6mm tube with a 14mmx1.5 bubble flare? I think I will just replace the entire line.
